The Future of Countering Terrorism - Beyond the Campaign
CENSA's new critically acclaimed publication analyzes a cross section of the issues facing policymakers in the war on
terrorism and provides important policy prescriptions. See more information.
Project on Innovation and National Security (PINS)
PINS is an initiative of the Council for Emerging National Security Affairs. Composed of professionals
active in the field, its goal is to study and contribute to the debate on the changing role of innovation and
technology in national security. It accomplishes this mission by publishing timely and cutting-edge analyses,
promoting thought-provoking discussions on its website, and sponsoring special events for the national security
community.
CENSA and Georgetown University
In an effort to expand the interests and raise awareness of graduate students on issues of national security and
international relations, CENSA frequently sponsors courses and tutorials at Georgetown's School of Foreign Service.
Our Tutorials (on issues ranging from Korean unification to the Future of NATO) have managed to connect CENSA members
in the middle of their careers to graduate students at Georgetown that are about to embark in their chosen fields of
endeavor. It is this confluence that is expanding opportunities for the students and reinvigorating our membership.
CENSA recently taught two graduate-level courses on "counterterrorism" and on "International Management Consulting."

CENSA Tutorial Program at Columbia SIPA
CENSA has launched the following tutorial initiatives with Columbia Universitys School of International and Public
Affairs (SIPA) and its International Security Policy (ISP) concentration:
- International Crime and Terrorism Course
- Career Panel
- Internship Program
- SIPA Participation at New York Dinner Series.
CENSA hosts two ISP students at each monthly New York dinner series, allowing them a "seat at the table" and direct
access to CENSA New York members.
These tutorial initiatives, building on CENSAs successful tutorial program at Georgetown Universitys School of Foreign
Service, fulfill CENSAs mission to contribute to the ongoing dialogue of shaping national security policy through formal
discussions, graduate level teaching programs, virtual collaboration, frequent publications, and high-quality research
programs that draw upon the diverse talents and innovative perspectives of its membership.
