Hisham Elkoustaf
Hisham Elkoustaf is a Program
Officer for the Middle East and North Africa with the National
Endowment for Democracy (NED) where he manages human rights and
democratization initiatives in Iraq. Prior to joining the NED,
Hisham was a corporate litigator with Morrison Cohen, LLP., and
with NBC's in-house litigation group. Hisham earned his J.D. from
the University of Pennsylvania Law School and studied
international relations as an undergrad at Columbia University and
as a graduate student at the Fletcher School of Law and
Diplomacy. Hisham is fluent in Arabic and French.

Christopher Elmes
Christopher Elmes is Vice President, Business Development and Account
Management for DBM, New York, a Thomson Company. DBM is a leading global
human resources consulting firm, operating in 47 countries, specializing in
employee retention and professional career transition. Chris lives and
works in New York City at DBM worldwide headquarters. His primary focus is
global financial markets. He spent six years as a flash qualified medic
with the US Army 10th Special Forces Group. Chris graduated magna cum
laude in 1989 with a BS in Communications from Fitchburg State College.

Wendy Epstein
Wendy is the Vice President of First Spice Mixing Company, Inc.,
an international manufacturer of seasonings to the food industry.
Prior to joining First Spice, she was a corporate associate in New
York City. Wendy was previously a staff assistant at the US
Department of Defense, Office of Russian Eurasian and East
European Affairs/Policy, the US State Department, Office of the
Coordinator of Assistance to the New Independent States and the US
Department of Justice, Office of International Affairs, Criminal
Division. She received a BS from Cornell University, an MGA from
the Fels Center of Government at the University of Pennsylvania
and a JD from Cardozo Law School.

Andrew P. N. Erdmann
Andrew (Drew) P. N. Erdmann is a member of the Secretary of State's Policy
Planning Staff, where he is responsible for counterterrorism, homeland
security, and Central Asian issues.He is an adjunct professor at George Washington University, where he teaches international security policy. He has taught at Harvard
University and served as a consultant to private industry and the U.S. Army.
Drew received a B.A. in History and Political Science from Williams College,
a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University, and an
A.M. and a Ph.D. in history from Harvard University.
