Become a Member
Applications for membership are considered by the Membership Committee on a quarterly basis.
To initiate the application process for membership in The Council for Emerging National Security Affairs, please email the following items to membership@censa.net:
- Cover letter explaining your interest in CENSA
- Current CV
- 600-800 word writing sample
If an application is approved then three additional tasks must be accomplished to become a full member of the organization:
- Pay Dues online in accordance with the organization's policy ($100 private sector/$50 public)
- Submit a 650 word OpEd on a national security topic of your choosing; your writing sample may be expanded to meet the 650 word limit
- Make a commitment to attend CENSA events including the Annual Conference.
It is the responsibility of all current CENSA members to seek opportunities to become active and involved in the organization, particularly through regular attendance at one of the dinner series and the annual meeting (if at all possible). The long term viability of CENSA depends upon the commitment and dedication of its members. This policy went into effect on October 15, 2002.
